Coffee and lightbeams - Austria doesn't do snow

So,

As you might know if you read our first blogpost, we're on tour, and right now we're in this really nice city called Linz in Austria. The guys from Dancing On Debris and our drummer Jens are all sleeping really tight, so I'll try not to use a lot of Caps Lock.

So, the day before yesterday we arrived here in Linz. We hung out with the people of Drama Bookings (AWESOME kids), drank some beers and acted goofy. Yesterday we hung at the riverside (the Donau is huge) and watched some Duifkes and lelleke maskes.

So, after our acting-like-hippies-near-the-river-and-shouting-dirty-words-time we went to the venue and set up our gear. This venue was like a cellar with a vaulted ceiling, which had this really cool and intimate vibe.
So, first up was this Austrian band called Sommerregen. They played some kind of punkrock. We didn't watch them for their whole set, because it was really warm and we were like supernervous because we were next up.
Our set, it was probably not the tightest, but, the entire atmosphere made it probably the coolest we experienced in the relatively short existence of our band. And to make the whole picture complete the guys of Dancing On Debris joined us after our last song for a 10-minute jam (DANCING ON VERSA FTW!). It was... let's just say words fall short to that wall of sound... After that jam they again played an awesome set. We totally love this band.

Afterwards, we went to this bar and drank some shots and beers. And went to "sleep" which means we drank some more and acted goofy. (Also, Shinfo: the venue we're sleeping in, had this band called This Is Hell last week. And they slept on the same matrasses as we did. Now how cool is that?)
